Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the smooth financial operations of our furniture retail business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and verify financial transactions.
  • Assist with billing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update accounting records using Tally or other accounting software.
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.
  • Support management with accounting information and other finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in retail, trading, FMCG, or furniture-related businesses is preferred.
  • Practical working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
  • Good command of MS Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Proficiency in English Hindi Kannada is advantage
