We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support an SRE Lean Support project by identifying and automating SRE/ITSM processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and automate SRE/ITSM workflows and operational tasks. Develop automation using scripting, APIs, workflow/orchestration tools, and AI/GenAI capabilities. Apply AI to improve incident, request, problem, change, and knowledge management processes. Collaborate with SRE, ITSM, and engineering teams to continuously improve automation and operational efficiency. Required Experience & Tools: Experience with Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, and automation/scripting. Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms. Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, or similar automation/DevOps tools. Familiarity with Azure/AWS and monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus. Exposure to AI/GenAI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of SRE and ITIL/ITSM practices.
