Detailed JD: Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, optimizing costs, and supporting cloud migrations.
Roles & Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, secure, and highly available. Provision and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Route 53, networking, storage, and related cloud components. Support application and infrastructure migration to AWS, including complex multi-tier applications. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate provisioning/configuration using technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments. Implement cloud security controls, ensuring infrastructure follows required security and compliance standards. Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for availability, performance, and reliability, and troubleshoot production issues. Establish and support backup and disaster-recovery procedures. Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance and cost, including implementing cost-control strategies. Work closely with application development, architecture, DevOps, security, and operations teams to implement cloud solutions. Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-platform issues and recommend architectural or process improvements. Maintain technical documentation, procedures, standards, and cloud-related policies.
