Role summary
Secures devices, email and user awareness in each new tenant, working with the Cloud Infra / Modern Workplace team that owns the Intune platform and device migratioKey responsibilities
- Endpoint protection: Configure Defender for Endpoint (AV, EDR in block mode, tamper protection, network protection, automatic attack disruption, AIR); device groups and Intune connector; onboard devices and offboard them from the source tenant.
- Attack Surface Reduction: Deploy ASR rules in audit mode, analyse with operations, approve exclusions and move to block before go/no-go.
- Device hardening: Define Intune security baselines and compliance policies, BitLocker with key escrow and Windows LAPS for laptops, frontline tablets, kiosks and iOS devices; Defender for Mobile and iOS compliance (supervised, minimum OS, jailbreak detection).
- Email security: Configure Defender for Office 365 P2 (anti-phishing, impersonation, Safe Links / Attachments); SPF, DKIM, DMARC for new domains; validate security during email coexistence; onboard Abnormal Security.
- Security awareness: Set up KnowBe4 per entity, phishing-simulation schedule, Top Clicker workflow and Phish Alert button.
- Reporting: Produce device coverage / compliance reports and endpoint security as-built documentation.
Required skills & experience
- 7 9 years total relevant experience in information security
- Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365; Defender XDR portal
- Intune, Autopilot, Apple Business Manager / ADE, Windows LAPS, BitLocker
- Email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC); Abnormal Security and KnowBe4 preferred
- Kiosk / shared-device lockdown experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal English; experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models
Certifications
Preferred: SC-200, MD-102, MS-102.
