Join our Finance organization as a Financial Controller, where you will play a critical role in safeguarding accounting compliance, delivering reliable financial reporting, and supporting major investment initiatives.

You will work across project and finance stakeholders, helping ensure that investments are accounted for correctly, financial governance is maintained, and business decisions are supported by accurate and transparent financial information. This role serves as an important bridge between project teams and Finance, contributing to sound financial stewardship and long-term value creation.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Financial Controller, you will own key financial processes associated with investment projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal governance requirements. The role combines operational execution with financial advisory responsibilities and requires extensive collaboration with project managers, cost controllers, accounting teams, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities, including accruals, repostings, and validation of financial results.
• Ensure appropriate accounting treatment of project expenditures, including capitalization, reserves, and IT/OT categorization.
• Manage asset accounting processes, including asset creation, activation requirements, and depreciation activities.
• Drive internal rate governance activities, annual true-ups, and intercompany invoicing processes.
• Consolidate budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial inputs while delivering investment reporting.
• Support governance processes, audit activities, investment approvals, and WBS structure setup.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of capitalization, asset accounting, accrual accounting, and IFRS principles.
• Experience working with ERP finance systems.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.

Job Location – Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)

Transport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.

Work: - 5 days from office
