Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Full-Stack Engineer who can independently drive technical delivery and collaborate directly with business stakeholders.
Working within a lean team alongside Data Engineers, you will build modern web applications, extend backend integration services, and enable business users to access and interact with enterprise data. The role spans application design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management, with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Go/Python, and AWS.
Programme Background
The organization is undertaking a greenfield Billing Transformation programme to modernize its end-to-end Quote-to-Cash landscape. The programme brings together platforms such as Oracle Fusion and Oracle RMB, custom applications, APIs, integrations, and data products. Quality engineering and automation support reliable delivery across complex business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend development: Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Own frontend architecture, component design, state management, performance, and maintainability.
- Backend services: Develop low-latency, scalable RESTful APIs using Go and contribute to backend services, event-driven microservices, and integration patterns alongside Data Engineers.
- Application integration: Connect frontend applications with APIs, backend services, and enterprise systems to deliver end-to-end functionality. Contribute to supporting data pipelines.
- Business applications: Build internal applications tailored to different user personas and workflows, improving data visibility and interaction for business stakeholders.
- Engineering standards: Define and uphold technical standards, design patterns, security practices, and application architecture principles.
- Observability: Implement monitoring using Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent platforms to provide visibility into application and infrastructure health.
- Delivery ownership: Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions and deliver them on time.
Required Skills & Experience
Frontend Engineering- Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Experience developing interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with Next.js or another modern React framework.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, state management, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and frontend security best practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
Backend & Integration Engineering- Hands-on experience with Go/Python for backend development, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Ability to develop scalable, low-latency RESTful APIs using Go.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and robust error handling.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
AWS, Databases & Cloud Security- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application design.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Experience with Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent observability platforms.
- Understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
Qualifications & Delivery Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of full-stack or software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience building enterprise applications across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud services, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of delivery, and collaborate directly with business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered conversational experiences, chatbots, or virtual assistants.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Copilot extensibility, custom agents, plugins, or agentic AI frameworks.
