Job Summary
Manages complex operational projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline for Jabil, Inc. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement in operational processes.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple, highly complex operational projects across various business units.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
Assemble and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Conduct regular project reviews, status updates, and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management methodologies and operational processes.
Ensure projects adhere to Jabil's quality standards, compliance requirements, and established procedures.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are met.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers and team members.
Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing complex operational projects in a manufacturing or technology environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain management, and manufacturing principles.
Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry is a plus.
