Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail RMS Quality Engineer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the lifecycle of Oracle Retail RMS solutions. The position focuses on validating complex retail systems, managing upgrade initiatives, and guaranteeing seamless data integrity across integrated modules. This role is critical for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the strategic deployment of cloud-based retail technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for Oracle Retail Cloud (SaaS) environments and manage the quality assurance aspects of system upgrade projects.
  • Utilize JIRA and ALM platforms to track defects, manage test cases, and oversee the entire test management lifecycle.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) integrations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Tosca to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform rigorous validation of Oracle Retail RMS and Merchandising functionalities to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Verify data accuracy and flow integrity across various Oracle Retail module integrations.
  • Execute advanced SQL queries to perform backend data validation and troubleshoot database-related discrepancies.

RequirementsRequirements:
  • Possess 6 to 8 years of professional experience in quality engineering within the IT Services sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in testing Oracle Retail Cloud (SaaS) applications and managing software upgrade projects.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard test management tools, specifically JIRA and ALM.
  • Strong technical background in troubleshooting Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) components.
  • Skilled in implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium and Tosca.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Retail RMS and Merchandising modules, including their specific functional behaviors.
  • Experience in analyzing and validating data flows within Oracle Retail module integrations.
  • Advanced capability in writing and executing complex SQL queries for backend data verification.
