Role purpose
Operates and engineers the configuration-management estate (Puppet, Chef) - authoring and maintaining modules and enforcing consistent, compliant infrastructure state.
Core responsibilities
Operate and maintain Puppet and Chef, keeping configuration-management platforms compliant and available.
Develop and maintain inner-sourced Puppet modules and shared configuration patterns with versioning and reuse metrics.
Enforce desired-state configuration and drift remediation across Linux and Windows estates.
Integrate configuration management with provisioning pipelines and the broader IaC toolchain.
Deliver brownfield consulting and tooling for legacy modernization with documented runbooks.
Monitor, resolve incidents, and perform RCA for configuration-management services with knowledge articles.
