Quality Engineer - Automated Testing

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components and systems to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include continuous testing across multiple domains such as security and application programming interfaces, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, and actively engaging in the review and improvement of testing processes. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, supporting data and environment setup, and contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of software products.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing strategies with project goals.- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements in testing processes.- Monitor and report defects effectively to facilitate timely resolution and maintain product quality. Technical Skills: - Must To Have
Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.- Experience in designing and implementing automation strategies for various testing types including regression and security testing.- Familiarity with scripting languages and tools used for test automation.- Ability to configure and manage test data and environments to support automated testing activities.- Strong analytical skills to monitor test results and identify areas for improvement.- Experience participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Automated Testing.- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.- A 15 years full time education is required.
