Job description

Roles and responsibilities:
  • We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Manager to lead SAP Finance implementation, rollout, transformation, and support engagements.
  • The candidate will be responsible for solution delivery, team management, client coordination, and ensuring successful execution of SAP FI projects.
  • Lead SAP FI implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Manage SAP FI functional teams and coordinate with technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct requirement gathering, business process analysis, and fit-gap workshops.
  • Design and implement SAP FI solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Provide functional expertise across:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Taxation and Withholding Tax
  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Financial Closing
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
  • Manage integration of FI with MM, SD, CO, and other SAP modules.
  • Review functional specifications, configuration, test scenarios, and solution designs.
  • Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, migration, and go-live activities.
  • Coordinate with business users and key stakeholders for requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Mentor team members and support their technical and functional development.
  • Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and ensure effective delivery.
  • Support estimation, resource planning, proposal preparation, and pre-sales activities when required.

Key skills required:
  • 8 12 years of overall SAP experience, with strong experience in SAP FI.
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on SAP FI experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in SAP FI implementation, rollout, support, and enhancement projects.
  • Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance business processes.
  • Experience in FI integration with MM, SD, CO, and AA.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience managing a team of SAP FI consultants.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.


Preferred:
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience in S/4HANA migration/conversion or implementation.
  • Knowledge of Central Finance (CFin).
  • Exposure to SAP Group Reporting, Treasury, or Cash Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and embedded analytics.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP and SAP Finance innovations.
  • Experience in global template and rollout projects.
  • Pre-sales and proposal experience.
