Our SAP practice supports organisations through implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ongoing application management. We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.
ROLE SUMMARY
Quadric IT is hiring two SAP Plant Maintenance consultants to support how organisations look after their equipment, facilities and production assets. Good maintenance processes keep plants running safely, reduce unplanned downtime and give finance a clear view of maintenance cost.
In this role you will design and support technical object structures, corrective and preventive maintenance processes, and the integration of maintenance with materials, purchasing, scheduling and controlling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical objects and master data
- Design and maintain technical object structures: functional locations, equipment, bills of materials and serial numbers.
- Define and support maintenance task lists, measuring points and counters.
- Set data standards for maintenance master data and support data loads.
Maintenance processes
- Configure and support maintenance notifications and orders: notification and order types, priorities, status profiles and catalogues.
- Configure and support preventive maintenance using maintenance plans and scheduling (time-based, performance-based or combined strategies).
- Support maintenance planning and execution: operations, work centres, spare parts reservations and purchase requisitions, confirmations and completion.
- Work with CO consultants on maintenance order costing and settlement.
Support and enablement
- Resolve maintenance incidents and change requests, and write functional specifications for enhancements, reports and interfaces.
- Support testing and cutover, and train planners, supervisors and technicians.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in SAP PM, with hands-on configuration and support.
- Strong knowledge of technical objects, maintenance notifications, maintenance orders and their configuration.
- Practical experience with preventive maintenance: task lists, maintenance plans, strategies and scheduling.
- Understanding of PM integration with MM (spare parts, purchasing) and CO (order costing and settlement).
- At least one full-cycle implementation, rollout or major support engagement on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Ability to work directly with maintenance planners and engineers in UK-based teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)
- SAP S/4HANA Asset Management experience, including Fiori apps for maintenance planning and execution.
- Refurbishment, calibration or work clearance management processes.
- Mobile maintenance solutions integrated with SAP.
- Exposure to asset performance or reliability solutions.
WAYS OF WORKING
- Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
- Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
- Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are a plant maintenance consultant who understands how maintenance teams really work. You can design a maintenance plan that produces the right orders at the right time, and you can trace a maintenance cost from the order to the cost centre.
PROVIDENT FUND (PF) REQUIREMENT
Provident Fund (PF) membership is mandatory for this role.
