SAP Project Manager

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Compensation: INR 2000000 - 2500000 per year

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to join our team. The role involves leading end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementations for a major client. This position will work in a hybrid mode, collaborating with onsite and offshore teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP implementation, rollout and upgrade projects from initiation to go‑live.

• Define project scope, timeline, milestones, budget and deliverables.

• Manage cross‑functional SAP teams including functional, technical, basis and integration experts.

• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and maintain project governance.

• Monitor progress, handle escalations, maintain RAID logs and drive status meetings.

• Facilitate steering committee meetings and client reviews.

• Ensure quality, compliance and timely delivery of solutions.

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of experience delivering full‑lifecycle SAP projects.

• Proven end‑to‑end SAP Project Management experience, including 2‑3 complete implementations.

• Hands‑on expertise with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration.

• Deep knowledge of at least one SAP module (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, PP, WM, BASIS, ABAP).

• Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation and risk management.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification.

• Experience coordinating onsite‑offshore teams and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with multiple SAP modules.

• Demonstrated ability to lead hybrid work‑mode projects.
