Our SAP practice supports organisations through implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ongoing application management. We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.
ROLE SUMMARY
Quadric IT is hiring two SAP SD consultants who specialise in the master data that drives sales processes. Orders, pricing and billing are only as reliable as the customer and product data underneath them.
In this role you will design, configure and govern customer (business partner) data, sales-relevant material data and related sales master records. You will set data standards, lead data loads and conversions, and trace sales process errors back to the data that caused them. This is a functional SAP SD role; it is not an SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) development role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Master data design and configuration
- Define and maintain the structure of customer master data, including sales area data, partner functions, account groups and number ranges.
- Configure and support business partner roles, groupings and customer business partner synchronisation where the business partner model is used.
- Define sales-relevant material master views and related sales master data, such as customer material information records, in coordination with other module owners.
Data quality and governance
- Establish data standards, mandatory fields and validation rules for sales master data.
- Run data quality checks and duplicate reviews, and work with data owners to correct records.
- Investigate order, pricing and billing failures caused by master data, and fix both the records and the root cause.
Migration, tooling and enablement
- Plan and run master data loads and conversions, covering mapping, cleansing, load templates, validation and reconciliation.
- Prepare functional specifications for master data tools, mass-change programs and interfaces.
- Document master data processes and train data maintenance users.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in SAP SD, with sustained ownership of sales master data.
- Strong knowledge of customer master data and its sales area, partner and account group set-up.
- Practical understanding of how master data drives sales document determination, pricing and billing.
- Hands-on experience with data migration or mass data loads, including mapping, validation and reconciliation.
- Experience on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with a clear understanding of the business partner model where S/4HANA is involved.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills for profiling and cleansing large data sets.
- Disciplined documentation and data governance habits.
PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)
- SAP S/4HANA customer vendor integration (CVI) configuration and business partner conversion experience.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration tooling, such as the Migration Cockpit.
- Exposure to SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) for customer data.
- Experience defining data ownership and approval workflows.
WAYS OF WORKING
- Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
- Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
- Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are an SD consultant who treats master data as the foundation of order-to-cash. You have led customer data design or migration on a real project, and you can trace a downstream sales error back to the field that caused it.
PROVIDENT FUND (PF) REQUIREMENT
Provident Fund (PF) membership is mandatory for this role.
