Our SAP practice supports organisations through implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ongoing application management. We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.
ROLE SUMMARY
Quadric IT is hiring two SAP SD pricing specialists to design and maintain the pricing logic behind sales orders and invoices. Pricing errors reach customers directly and affect margin, so this role demands precision.
You will own the condition technique end to end, from pricing procedures and access sequences to condition records and custom pricing logic, so that customers are charged the right price, discount, surcharge and tax every time. You will also be the expert who explains how any price on any document was calculated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing design and configuration
- Design and configure pricing procedures and their determination by sales area, customer and document pricing procedure.
- Create and maintain condition types, access sequences and condition tables for prices, discounts, surcharges, freight and taxes.
- Configure scales, header conditions, manual and statistical conditions, subtotals, and requirement and formula routines (with ABAP support where needed).
- Define pricing types and repricing behaviour across order changes, document copying and billing.
Pricing operations and support
- Set up and support condition record maintenance processes, including mass changes and pricing reports.
- Diagnose pricing issues using the pricing analysis of sales and billing documents, and correct configuration or data.
- Translate commercial pricing policies into maintainable SAP designs, and push back on designs that will be hard to support.
Integration and enablement
- Work with FI consultants on account keys and on revenue and discount postings arising from pricing conditions.
- Prepare functional specifications for pricing enhancements and interfaces, and support testing.
- Document pricing logic and train pricing and sales operations users.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in SAP SD, with pricing as a primary area of hands-on work.
- Expert knowledge of the condition technique: pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, condition tables and determination.
- Experience specifying pricing requirement and formula logic and working with ABAP developers to deliver it.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using the pricing analysis of sales and billing documents.
- Understanding of how pricing flows into billing and accounting.
- At least one full-cycle implementation, rollout or major support engagement on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Ability to discuss pricing rules confidently with commercial and finance stakeholders in UK-based teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)
- SAP S/4HANA Sales pricing experience.
- Rebate, settlement or customer-agreement processes.
- Tax determination integration, for example with external tax engines.
- Complex B2B pricing such as customer hierarchies, contract pricing or multi-currency pricing.
WAYS OF WORKING
- Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
- Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
- Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are a pricing specialist who has built and maintained pricing procedures that a business actually relies on. You are precise, comfortable with complex condition logic, and able to explain any price on any invoice line.
