Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to support a SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation program. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP Project Systems solutions to support project planning, budgeting, execution, cost control, and project reporting processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver an integrated solution aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Design
* Conduct requirement gathering and fit-to-standard workshops with business stakeholders.
* Analyze and design end-to-end project management and project accounting processes.
* Advise business users on SAP best practices and standard functionality.
* Prepare functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and solution design documents.
SAP PS Configuration
* Configure SAP S/4HANA Project Systems functionalities including:
* Project Structures (WBS Elements)
* Project Planning and Scheduling
* Networks and Activities
* Project Budgeting and Cost Planning
* Revenue Planning and Tracking
* Milestones
* Settlement Rules
* Resource Planning
* Progress Tracking
* Project Reporting
Integration Management
* Collaborate with other SAP functional teams to ensure seamless integration with:
* SAP FI/CO
* SAP MM
* SAP SD
* SAP PP
* SAP EPPM (if applicable)
* SAP Asset Accounting (AA)
* Support project procurement, project costing, and capital project processes.
Testing & Deployment
* Prepare and execute Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT scenarios.
* Support defect resolution and retesting activities.
* Assist in cutover planning and go-live preparation.
* Provide post-go-live hypercare support.
Data Migration & Reporting
* Support migration of project-related master and transactional data.
* Validate migrated data and ensure data integrity.
* Design and support project reporting requirements using standard SAP and Fiori reports.
Stakeholder & User Enablement
* Conduct workshops, demos, and solution walkthroughs.
* Prepare training materials and user documentation.
* Support business users during testing and deployment phases.
* Provide knowledge transfer to support and operational teams.
Required Skills
* Strong expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS).
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations.
* Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, cost planning, and settlement processes.
* Experience in WBS structures, networks, milestones, and project cost control.
* Strong knowledge of integration between PS, FI/CO, MM, and SD.
* Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to project management.
* Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP PS Certification.
* Experience in Engineering, Construction, EPC, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Capital Projects industries.
* Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
* Knowledge of SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM/EPPM) is an advantage.
