Technology Support Engineer - PHP (Programming Language)

As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes creating and implementing Requests for Change to improve system functionality and updating knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient troubleshooting. Collaboration with vendors and service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, ensuring thorough analysis and timely resolution of issues that impact business continuity. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining system reliability and supporting multiple teams across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Lead efforts to document processes and update knowledge resources to enhance team efficiency.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills: IMP : Primary skill: TYPO3 CMS and PHP Secondary/Good to have skill: MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS, Composer, Git, and Docker/DDEV-based local development

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PHP (Programming Language).
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML).
• Strong understanding of server-side scripting and web application development.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in multi-component systems.
• Familiarity with change management processes and incident management frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PHP (Programming Language).
