Accounts Payable Manager

Position Summary:

This is a key role in the growing ACA Pune Capability Centre, with ownership of the AP function, The AP Manager will manage the accounts payable day to day operations of a new and growing accounts payable services operation in Pune, India.

Job Duties:

• Supervise & lead the Accounts Payable function

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations including processes and procedures

• Perform first level review of work performed by the team members and ensure high-quality deliverables

• Process all settlement/payment batches in Workday

• To ensure that the Invoices received by the team are processed within agreed SLAs

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and handle escalations

• Ensure adequate support provided to the team members

• Ad Hoc projects and tasks as required

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

• To demonstrate Problem Solving capabilities in resolving issues and providing Solutions for AP processes

• Risk Management / Prioritization

• Continually develop the evolving & dynamic function, focusing on improving the engagement and efficiency of the team

• Report pre-established KPIs to Global Controller

• Documentations to be reviewed and updated on regular basis

• Identify Process Training needs and schedule training sessions

• Identify key areas of improvements

Education Experience and Skills

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred

1. Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience in Accounts Payable

Preferred Education and Experience

1. College courses in accounting preferred

1. Experience with Workday accounting system a plus

1. Experience working with a multi-entity, global company

1. Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize invoice processing, payment workflows, exception management, and reporting.
