Architect

About the Role

• We are hiring an on-site Architect in Kolhapur for a full-time, hands-on role designing buildings and overseeing execution.
• You will join a small team handling projects from concept through construction with immediate responsibility and visible impact.

What You Will Do

• Create concept designs, detailed drawings, and construction documents using CAD and BIM tools.
• Coordinate with clients, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to resolve design and build issues.
• Visit sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Develop and update project schedules, cost estimates, and material specifications to keep projects on track.
• Review shop drawings, approve mockups, and manage punch lists during handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent and 0–4 years of professional experience in building projects.
• Proven ability to produce construction-ready drawings and coordinate technical disciplines on-site.
• Comfortable working full-time on-site in Kolhapur during 09:30 to 18:30 shift.
• Strong communication skills in Marathi or Hindi and English for client and contractor coordination.
• Willingness to travel locally between project sites and work flexible hours when needed for site issues.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and a working knowledge of Revit or another BIM tool, Sketchup V Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, Microsoft.
• Practical understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Basic cost estimation and quantity takeoff skills for small to medium projects.
• Ability to read structural and MEP drawings and integrate them into architectural layouts.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to buildability and constructible solutions.
