The role focuses on developing efficient tools, applications, and scripts to enhance engineering productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-driven validation and debugging activities.What You Will Do· Develop automation tools and engineering utilities using MATLAB, M-Scripting/Python , App Designer, and Python· Design and build GUI-based applications using MATLAB App Designer for:o Data visualizationo Signal analysiso Report generation· Create reusable MATLAB scripts for:o Data processing and transformationo Log analysis and parsingo Validation and workflow automation· Develop Python scripts for automation, file handling, and engineering data analysis· Perform automotive data analysis, including:o CAN log parsingo Signal extractiono Debugging and issue analysis· Improve engineering productivity by:o Automating repetitive workflowso Optimizing internal engineering processes· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for:o Requirement understandingo Feature developmento Issue resolution· Manage sprint activities and defect tracking using Jira in Agile environments· Create and maintain documentation, workflows, and knowledge base articles in Confluence· Support validation, debugging, and testing activities for automotive software projectsWhat You Need to Be Successful· 3–6 years of experience in MATLAB development and automation· Strong proficiency in:o MATLAB programming and M-Scriptingo MATLAB App Designer (GUI development)o Python scripting for automation· Hands-on experience in:o Data analysis and signal processingo Automotive domain (CAN logs, signal-level debugging)o Debugging and validation workflows· Good understanding of:o Software development lifecycleo Agile methodologies· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills· Good communication and collaboration abilitiesBonus Points If You Have· Experience with large dataset handling and optimization· Exposure to automotive tools or standards (Vector tools, MDF/ASC formats, etc.)· Knowledge of version control systems (Git)· Experience in performance optimization of MATLAB applications· Exposure to model-based development (Simulink)What Makes You Eligible· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:o Computer Scienceo Electronics / Electrical Engineeringo Or related field· Proven experience in MATLAB-based development, automation, and engineering workflow optimization· Strong foundation in debugging, data analysis, and tool development What We Offer- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunities for professional growth and development- Collaborative and dynamic work environment- Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools- Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance through BeBrilliant- Chance to work with a renowned German OEM- You are expected to work all 5 days in a week in office About HARMAN: Where Innovation Unleashes Next-Level Technology Ever since the 1920s, we’ve been amplifying the sense of sound.
