As a Cost Controller, you will be a key partner in ensuring project financial performance, providing transparency, forecasting accuracy, and actionable insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help safeguard project outcomes by identifying risks early, challenging assumptions, and ensuring financial discipline from project initiation through closure. Your contribution will enable informed decision-making and support successful investment execution.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Cost Controller, you will act as the financial and operational backbone of project teams, ensuring timely and accurate cost information is available to support project delivery. This role combines financial control, forecasting, stakeholder management, and project support within a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates, cost breakdown structures, and budget baselines during project planning phases.
• Manage month-end activities including accruals, internal hour postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Drive ETC (Estimate to Complete) and EAC (Estimate at Completion) forecasting processes and perform variance analysis together with Project Managers and work package owners.
• Monitor open commitments, contingency utilization, and the financial impact of project risks and changes.
• Support purchase order management, invoice handling, and change register administration on behalf of the Project Manager.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and support project closure activities, including asset creation and project financial closeout.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project controlling, cost engineering, project finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence or reporting tools.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.

Job Location – Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)

Transport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.

Work: - 5 days from office
