Job description
Experience in EDI and must have minimum 4+/7+ years of exp in sterling integrator and sterling business process development, Communication Protocols (AS2/SFTP), retail domain. Having knowledge on Cleo Harmony is going to be an added advantage.
Perform advanced EDI configuration assignments. Requires full development lifecycle for Order and Invoice EDI transactions. They will work with Project Managers, fellow developers, QA teams, senior staff and other key stakeholders as required for delivery of solutions.
Understanding of business concepts, business rules, data flow and database structures of supported systems.
Experience with EDI translation tools such as Gentran/Sterling integrator Map editor.
Experience with various communications protocols such as AS2, FTP, FTP/s, SFTP, HTTP, and HTTP/s.
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Business Processes (BPML) in Sterling Integrator.
Good understand of end-to-end EDI lifecycle development from Specification to production installation.
Ability to understand customer requirements, EDI specifications, flow charts and/or pseudo-code for design of new or updates to applications.
Strong understanding of EDI mapping and EDI transactions.
Suggest changes and improvement where necessary to aid growth and scalability.
Ability to develop and maintain EDI transactions.
Should have hands-on experience on EDI transactions such as 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 870, and 997.
Ability to map/configure in both ANSI X12 and EDIFACT formats.
Ability to map/configure XML, CXML file structures.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
