About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, forward-thinking, and hands-on Manager, Salesforce & Oracle CPQ to lead technology delivery across our core Lead-to-Quote ecosystem. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Product, and Customer Success to design, deliver, and maintain robust, scalable, and business-centric solutions across Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ.

As a modern technology leader, you will be deeply AI-savvy—actively championing the adoption of Generative AI and modern automation tools across your engineering team to accelerate delivery velocity, improve code quality, and optimize operational workflows. Concurrently, you will leverage AI and intelligent automation capabilities to enable smarter deal execution, dynamic pricing intelligence, and predictive sales insights across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Focus Area

Core Responsibilities

People Leadership & AI Enablement

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Salesforce and Oracle CPQ developers, administrators, and analysts, fostering continuous learning, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Champion an AI-first engineering culture, driving the adoption of GenAI tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, automated test generation, PR review automation) to measurably boost team productivity and delivery quality.

Platform Delivery & Integrations

• Manage end-to-end platform delivery, customizations, and operational health for Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ (BigMachines and Fusion).
• Oversee seamless, resilient bi-directional integrations between Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, and adjacent enterprise systems (Oracle EBS/Fusion, Agile PLM, PDH, CLM, and Subscription & Asset Management platforms).

Business Partnership & Strategy

• Partner with GTM and Finance stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable architecture across configuration rules, BML/BMQL scripts, commerce processes, and doc engine templates.
• Standardize processes across multi-tier approvals, discounting matrices, contract amendments, renewals, and revenue workflows.

AI Innovation & Automation

• Identify and deliver high-impact AI/ML use cases within the Salesforce & Oracle CPQ footprint, including predictive deal guidance, automated quoting workflows, and intelligent approval routing.

Governance, Quality & Metrics

• Ensure strict adherence to SOX compliance, audit controls, enterprise security standards, and release governance.
• Define and track key KPIs (e.g., quoting turnaround time, configuration accuracy, platform adoption, CI/CD deployment frequency, and defect reduction).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 6–8+ years of progressive experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or delivery roles focused on Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ (BigMachines and Fusion) within Lead-to-Quote / Quote-to-Cash workflows.
  • Leadership: 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineering/systems teams with a track record of driving operational excellence.
  • AI & Developer Productivity Savvy: Demonstrated experience or active practice in utilizing AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and team efficiency (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AI test automation, Jira/ADO AI skills, or platform-native AI capabilities).
  • Technical Depth in Oracle CPQ & Salesforce: Solid hands-on understanding of Oracle CPQ architecture (BML, BMQL, Commerce Processes, Configuration Rules, Document Engine) and its deep integration with Salesforce CRM objects, APIs, and data models.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge technical concepts with executive GTM business leaders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Official certifications such as Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist and/or Salesforce Administrator / Developer.
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in hybrid hardware, software, and SaaS subscription-based business models.
  • Experience implementing modern DevOps/CI/CD practices for Oracle CPQ migration packages and Salesforce deployment pipelines.
