Job Description
KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the fitness centre's financial operations, including budget preparation, revenue enhancement, and expense control
- Oversee and maintain the facility, ensuring peak condition and adherence to safety standards
- Develop and implement fitness programmes, including aerobics and specialised offerings
- Train and supervise fitness staff in areas such as member management, sales techniques, and exercise instruction
- Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalised exercise programmes for members
- Lead various exercise classes, including cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and flexibility sessions
- Provide instruction and counselling on exercise prescription, nutrition, and stress management
- Develop and coordinate marketing strategies and special events to enhance membership and revenue
- Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain positive relationships within the spa and hotel
- Conduct staff meetings, performance appraisals, and training sessions
- Stay current with industry trends and maintain personal fitness as a role model for members
