Location: India

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Recruitment Lead – AI/ML & Data Programs based in India.

We are seeking an experienced global talent acquisition leader to build and scale international recruitment operations supporting cutting-edge AI, Machine Learning, and data programs. In this strategic leadership role, you will design and manage end-to-end hiring strategies for specialized talent, including data annotators, multilingual LLM evaluators, LiDAR specialists, and subject-matter experts. You will oversee recruitment pipelines across the US, Europe, LATAM, MENA, and APAC, ensuring access to qualified talent at scale while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Working closely with delivery, operations, and business leaders, you will align workforce planning with evolving client demands and project requirements. You will also develop flexible recruitment ecosystems involving freelancers, vendors, and distributed expert networks while leveraging automation and data-driven insights to optimize hiring performance. This is an opportunity to build a global talent infrastructure from the ground up and directly contribute to the growth and successful delivery of innovative AI initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Global Recruitment Strategy: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive international recruitment strategies for AI/ML, data annotation, multilingual projects, LLM evaluation, LiDAR, Physical AI, and specialized domains such as Legal, Medical, Mathematics, and Science.
  • International Talent Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and continuously optimize recruitment pipelines across five key regions: the United States, Europe, Latin America (LATAM), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC).
  • High-Volume and Specialized Recruitment: Lead large-scale, fast-turnaround recruitment initiatives to meet changing project requirements. Ensure access to qualified candidates while maintaining strict quality, accuracy, and certification standards.
  • Distributed Workforce Development: Establish and scale flexible talent ecosystems involving freelancers, external vendors, contractors, and distributed specialist networks to support varying workforce demands.
  • Screening and Certification Frameworks: Design structured candidate assessment processes, screening methodologies, certification programs, and benchmarking systems to establish consistent qualification standards across different roles and regions.
  • Workforce Planning and Capacity Management: Collaborate with delivery and operations leaders to forecast recruitment requirements, anticipate workforce demand, and ensure qualified talent is available ahead of project launches.
  • Recruitment Technology and Automation: Optimize recruitment workflows, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and automation solutions to improve hiring speed, operational efficiency, and candidate experience.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analytics: Establish recruitment KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor time-to-fill, time-to-certify, bench readiness, pipeline health, and overall hiring effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure international recruitment operations comply with contractual obligations, regional employment requirements, and applicable data protection and security standards.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Work closely with internal leadership, operations, delivery teams, and external recruitment partners to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure effective workforce delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement and Scalability: Identify new sourcing channels, expand global talent coverage, and continuously refine recruitment processes to support organizational growth and evolving AI industry requirements.
  • Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in global talent acquisition, recruitment leadership, or international workforce management.
  • Proven experience scaling distributed teams of approximately 50–500+ professionals across international programs.
  • Previous experience in AI/ML, data services, SaaS, BPO, technology-enabled platforms, or other fast-growing technology environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multilingual recruitment, contractor-based workforce models, and international talent acquisition strategies.
  • Hands-on experience recruiting for AI data annotation, LLM evaluation, computer vision, LiDAR, Physical AI, or specialized subject-matter expert roles is highly desirable.
  • Experience building and managing global freelance marketplaces, external vendor partnerships, and distributed expert networks is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment strategies and scalable talent pipelines across multiple geographical regions.
  • Strong knowledge of candidate screening, technical assessments, certification frameworks, and talent benchmarking methodologies.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment automation tools, sourcing platforms, and workforce management technologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience developing dashboards, monitoring recruitment KPIs, and using data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to forecast workforce requirements and collaborate with delivery and operations teams on capacity planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, manage expectations, and challenge unrealistic recruitment timelines when necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across international teams and different time zones.
  • Good understanding of international recruitment compliance, contractual requirements, and data security considerations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments while balancing recruitment speed, candidate quality, and operational efficiency.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to build recruitment systems and processes from the ground up.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation: Salary negotiable and benchmarked against the candidate's regional market.
  • Performance-based incentives: Additional rewards linked to recruitment performance and hiring success.
  • Employment type: Full-time permanent position.
  • Work arrangement: Fully remote opportunity, based in India.
  • Global exposure: Opportunity to lead recruitment initiatives supporting AI and data programs across international markets and multiple continents.
