  • Design and implement end-to-end data migration solutions from mainframe environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring data integrity, security, and business continuity.
  • Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading processes using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
  • Perform data profiling, mapping, reconciliation, and quality validation while converting legacy data models into cloud-native architectures and modern data platforms.

Kyndryl provides continuous learning opportunities, access to industry-recognized certifications, and exposure to large-scale transformation programs across industries including banking, insurance, retail, healthcare, and public sector.

  • Experience in data extraction, conversion, mapping, transformation, and reconciliation from legacy mainframe environments to cloud-native platforms.
  • Strong understanding of migration planning, execution, validation, rollback strategies, and data quality assessment to ensure accurate and reliable migrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, database concepts, Python, Shell Scripting, or Java for developing migration utilities, automation scripts, and integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of data integration frameworks, API-based data exchange mechanisms, and ETL/ELT processes supporting large-scale enterprise transformations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, security controls, and governance standards, ensuring efficient, scalable, and compliant migration delivery.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience delivering large-scale enterprise modernization and digital transformation programs across complex mainframe environments.
