This position is critical for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and executing both scheduled and emergency repairs across our facility. The ideal candidate will bring three years of hands-on experience to manage complex maintenance tasks, ensuring all machinery operates at peak efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on bearings and gearboxes to prevent mechanical failures.
Conduct comprehensive servicing of pumps and compressors to ensure optimal fluid dynamics and pressure levels.
Inspect and repair conveyor systems to maintain smooth material handling operations.
Execute precise shaft and coupling alignment procedures to reduce vibration and extend equipment lifespan.
Apply basic fabrication techniques to fabricate or repair necessary mechanical components and parts.
Oversee general mechanical upkeep to ensure all systems function within specified parameters.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
Respond promptly to breakdown situations to restore operations and minimize production delays.
Requirements Requirements:
Minimum of three years of professional experience in mechanical maintenance roles.
Proven expertise in bearing and gearbox maintenance, including inspection and replacement.
Strong proficiency in maintaining pumps and compressors.
Skilled in conveyor system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Competent in performing shaft and coupling alignment with high precision.
Ability to perform basic fabrication tasks such as welding, cutting, and fitting.
Solid understanding of mechanical maintenance principles and best practices.
Experience in executing both preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies effectively.
