Job description
As a Python Engineer at GlobalLogic, you will be a key player in our Digital Engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services while ensuring seamless integration with modern frontend frameworks. You will work on global projects that require a "Chip-to-Cloud" mindset, helping our clients solve complex business challenges through intelligent software products. Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Development: Design and build robust, scalable backend services using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Full-Stack Integration: Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs with React, Angular, or Vue.js applications.
Database Management: Design efficient schemas and optimize complex queries for SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases. Handle migrations using tools like Alembic.
Code Quality: Drive technical excellence by writing clean, testable code and implementing comprehensive unit/integration tests using Pytest.
Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (primarily AWS), utilizing Docker and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in Scrum ceremonies, provide insightful code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Python Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python 3.x, including concurrency (AsyncIO) and standard libraries.
Web Frameworks: Strong experience with FastAPI (preferred for modern microservices), Django, or Flask.
Frontend Basics: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with at least one modern framework (React is highly preferred).
Database Tools: Expertise in SQL and ORMs (SQLAlchemy / Django ORM).
Version Control: Expert-level knowledge of Git and branching strategies (GitFlow).
Testing: Strong belief in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with Pytest/Unittest.
Environment: Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.
This page is for Indian job seekers preparing for JavaScript interviews, from freshers facing their first technical round to experienced developers targeting product companies. It covers 60 questions in three levels: easy questions on core language basics, medium questions on closures, this, promises and the event loop, and hard questions on polyfills, performance and tricky edge cases. Each answer is written the way a strong candidate would say it, with short code you can run in the browser console or Node. Read the answer, try the code, then explain it aloud in your own words.
