Quality Assurance - P&C and Accounting

Location: 100% Remote

• 5 8 years of Manual / Functional QA Testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Agile, test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Strong P&C Insurance domain knowledge covering policy lifecycle, quote & bind, new business, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, premium, billing/collections, claims, commissions, underwriting, and policy transactions.
• Good Accounting/Financial domain knowledge covering GL, AP, AR, journal entries, debit/credit, trial balance, reconciliation, financial transactions, accounting rules, month/period-end processes, revenue/expense accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience validating end-to-end insurance and accounting workflows, including integrations between policy, billing, claims, and accounting/financial systems.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar defect-management tools.
• SQL/database validation experience.
• Ability to analyze requirements, create test scenarios/test data/scripts, identify defects, perform RCA, and work with developers/BAs/business stakeholders.
• Good stakeholder communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
