  • Prepare journals, accruals, and adjustments with supporting calculations and documents, obtain required approvals, and post entries in SAP and Tagetik.
  • Check transaction details and supporting information before posting, and correct errors through the approved process.
  • Complete assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks within the close calendar, update task status, and flag delays promptly.

2. Account reconciliations and issue resolution

  • Prepare assigned general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, match balances to supporting records, and document reconciling items.
  • Reconcile assigned intercompany balances and process approved adjustments. Follow up on differences and provide information needed for settlement.
  • Investigate routine differences, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate aged, unusual, or unresolved balances with supporting details.

3. Reporting and control checks

  • Extract financial data and prepare standard reports and supporting schedules for review. Check completeness and consistency with source records.
  • Investigate routine variances and provide supporting explanations; refer complex movements or accounting questions for guidance.
  • Perform assigned control checks, retain evidence, and report exceptions. Address review comments and make approved corrections before submission.

4. Collaboration and audit support

  • Provide transaction records, reconciliations and supporting documents for audit queries through the designated C&R contact.
  • Keep the Senior Advisor informed of progress and escalate unresolved issues with clear supporting information.

5. Process improvement and team support

  • Flag recurring errors, delays and manual steps, suggest practical improvements and implement agreed changes within assigned tasks.
