As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for contributing to the technical solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Veeva Quality Suite across Content Management, Quality, Audit & Risk business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide product expertise in the Veeva Quality Suite as a certified Vault platform administrator and Veeva configuration specialist, leading large-scale configuration projects.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand functional needs, refine requirements and define product outcomes within guardrails set by the Product Managers.
  • Act as the product knowledge expert across multiple objects, coaching product owners and managing configuration changes for the Veeva Quality Suite in line with agreed priority backlog items.
  • Lead impact assessment activities, reviewing proposed changes and ensuring impact understood across the entire Quality Suite.
  • Deliver product enhancements through agreed backlog process to ensure Veeva Quality Suite evolves to meet business needs.
  • Ensure Quality Vault remains compliant as a Validated Solution through supporting testing and re-validation efforts and that configuration releases from validation to production are compliant.
  • Collaborate with Veeva Enterprise Managed Services on product features and with business resources across Global Supply Chain, Research and Development, Vaccines and GSK support functions, managing and maintaining metadata in Quality Vault (including picklists and organisational data).
  • Make backlog prioritization decisions based on value, cost, risk, business continuity and resource capacity, escalating strategic trade-offs in line with the agreed RACI.
  • Lead refinement, demonstrations, acceptance and release decisions, maintaining clear traceability from business outcome through requirement, test and delivered change, and ensure product changes follow required security, data, quality, validation, change and regulatory controls with specialist approvals obtained where required.
  • Support architects in assessing design options, managing cross-product dependencies, interface impacts and release sequencing, and act as an escalation point for the product team and business users on functional product issues, guiding resolution within agreed guardrails.
  • Coordinate supplier delivery and hold external partners accountable for quality, documentation, knowledge transfer and product outcomes, promoting agile, iterative, value-driven and data-led delivery and using feedback and performance insights to continuously improve the product.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in product ownership, agile delivery, business analysis, change, process improvement or service management certifications.
  • Minimum five years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, digital solutions, technology delivery or process-led technology roles.
  • Experience in defining and prioritising epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria and managing a product backlog.
  • Experience in working directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into feasible, value-led technology changes.
  • Experience in prioritising changes based on value, process impact, risk, cost, capacity and technology dependencies.
  • Experience in guiding product analysts, engineers, architects and testers through refinement, design, testing, release and adoption.
  • Experience in applying security, data protection, quality, validation, change and service-readiness controls.
  • Experience in defining product performance measures and using user, process, stability and service insights to improve outcomes.
  • Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments and coordinating suppliers or external delivery partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communicates product decisions and technology constraints in written and verbal form to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitates discovery, backlog refinement, prioritisation, demonstrations and acceptance discussions.
  • Applies analytical judgement to balance value, risk, cost, complexity, urgency and operational impact.
  • Interprets process information, user feedback and product data to identify and specify improvements.
  • Maintains working knowledge of architecture, integration, data, security, validation, service and operational readiness.
  • Maintains organisation, traceability and documentation in line with governance requirements.
  • Works collaboratively across global, cross-functional and supplier teams.
  • Defines solutions that are user-centred, capability-led and technology-agnostic.
