Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team and support the General Purpose Platform (GPP) project. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, with a good understanding of GPP systems, financial applications, and integration testing.
Key Responsibilities: Understand business and technical requirements for the GPP system. Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated). Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. Track and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members. Ensure test coverage and quality of the platform across multiple releases. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in QA and software testing. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar. Experience testing financial applications, preferably in the payments domain (e.g., GPP, ACH, SWIFT). Good understanding of APIs and integration testing (e.g., using Postman, REST Assured). Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have: Exposure to Performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing. ISTQB or relevant QA certification.
