Staff, AI Product Manager

GSK's Enterprise AI team is hiring a Staff, AI Product Manager to own Emerging Tech and AI Tooling, the front edge of GSK's AI platform estate.

You will run structured evaluation of new AI tools and platforms, decide what graduates into a standing tower and what gets retired, and own the AI developer tooling GSK engineers use every day.

This role suits someone who can hold an evaluation to a decision date and retire tools the organisation is attached to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run every evaluation to a decision
• Quantify value rigorously
• Tell new capability from repackaging
• Shape the emerging tech portfolio
• Make the graduate, retire, or hold call
• Protect the estate from sprawl
• Lead the Emerging Tech and AI Tooling squad
• Own the graduation handover
• Own the AI developer tooling estate
• Stay hands on
• Operate fluently with VP-level technology and business leaders
• Build sponsor coalitions
• Communicate impact clearly
• Apply Enterprise AI's value-realization framework
• Run honest post-mortems

Required skills:

• 16+ years of progressive experience spanning some combination of pharma/life sciences, AI/ML product strategy, and senior product management or strategy roles in technology-led organisations
• Demonstrated track record of identifying, scoping, prototyping, and shepherding high-value technology or AI initiatives
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise AI platforms and developer tooling
• Solid technical fluency in modern AI/ML
• Experience leading a small engineering team
• A product management or product-strategy heritage

Preferred skills:

• Hands on with the AI platform ecosystem as a daily practitioner
• Able to evaluate from first principles and to design the evaluation itself
• A proven record of retiring and consolidating technology
