Description

1. Product & Technical Leadership

+ Ensure technical product requirements are understood and addressed.
+ Develop product/configuration options that allow the PLCT to evaluate engineering trade-offs.
+ Drive detailed engineering-solution decomposition for the configuration approved by PLCT.
+ Ensure the resulting engineering solution meets the Product Requirements Document (PRD).

1. Requirements Ownership

+ Lead the product-level requirements-analysis process and work across functional teams on product requirements.
+ Act as a key interface between Marketing/product requirements and engineering functions.
+ Drive PRD requirements into the functional organizations for analysis and execution. Internal system-engineering process documentation identifies the PDT Lead as the primary owner for System Requirement Analysis.

1. Cross-Functional Engineering Execution

+ Coordinate functional-team members to drive execution against the committed schedule.
+ Bring together the relevant engineering disciplines required to deliver the product.
+ Drive alignment across the PDT when an engineering decision affects multiple functions.
