The Role

Your Role:

As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications built on .NET and .NET Core technologies. You will work within an Application Managed Services (AMS) environment to ensure application stability, availability, performance, and service quality. The role combines production support, incident management, DevOps practices, automation, and continuous service improvement while collaborating with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams.

What Will You Do:

  • Provide production support for enterprise applications by monitoring system health, resolving incidents, troubleshooting application, API, database, and performance issues, and performing root-cause analysis.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes using ITSM processes while meeting agreed SLAs, KPIs, and operational standards.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, configuration management, release validation, rollback planning, post-deployment monitoring, and DevOps activities across multiple environments.
  • Analyze logs, alerts, metrics, and monitoring dashboards to identify issues, improve reliability, optimize performance, and reduce recurring incidents.
  • Utilize approved AI-enabled support tools and automation capabilities to assist with incident triage, log analysis, knowledge retrieval, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, known-error databases, and operational knowledge repositories.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, network, security, and business teams to resolve technical issues and support service delivery activities.
  • Participate in operational reviews, knowledge transitions, service improvement initiatives, on-call support, rotational shifts, and application modernization efforts as required.

With dedication and hard work, you can climb the ladder to higher bands, achieving coveted positions such as Principal Engineer or Vice President of Software. These roles not only offer the chance to inspire and innovate, but also bring with them a sense of pride and accomplishment for having reached the pinnacle of your career in the software industry.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused - someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments, including incident management, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities.
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server or equivalent relational databases, including query execution, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and data connectivity support.
  • Experience with ITIL-based service management, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request Management, SLA tracking, and escalation management.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment validation, release management, rollback procedures, and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Azure Monitor, or equivalent platforms, along with basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, customer support, and documentation skills with the ability to work in SLA-driven enterprise support environments.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core Web API, middleware components, and enterprise integration services.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, cloud monitoring, and cloud-hosted application support.
  • Experience supporting application modernization, migration, automated deployments, infrastructure monitoring, and Agile/DevOps delivery models.
