Job description

Location: Benguluru India
Department: Allwyn Corp

Experience: 7–12 years in recruitment, including 2+ years in team leadership
Shift: U.S. EST Business hours

About the Role

We is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Recruitment Manager to lead our recruiting operations in Bengaluru.

We are seeking a hands-on recruitment leader who enjoys recruiting as much as managing a team. This is not a purely managerial or supervisory position. The ideal candidate will personally source, screen, engage, and close candidates while coaching recruiters, driving accountability, and ensuring timely delivery against hiring requirements.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced staffing environment, collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders, and taking ownership of both individual and team recruitment results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-On Recruiting & Delivery

  • Independently manage assigned requisitions from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.

  • Actively source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other sourcing channels.

  • Conduct initial screenings to assess technical fit, communication skills, compensation expectations, availability, and suitability.

  • Build strong talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.

  • Manage candidate negotiations, offer discussions, follow-ups, and closures.

  • Take direct ownership of critical, urgent, and challenging requirements.

  • Maintain high standards for candidate quality, submission turnaround, and candidate experience.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters while maintaining personal recruitment responsibilities.

  • Allocate requirements based on recruiter capabilities, priorities, and workload.

  • Establish individual and team performance expectations and monitor progress.

  • Conduct daily recruiting huddles, pipeline reviews, and regular one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Identify performance gaps and provide practical guidance to improve sourcing effectiveness, screening quality, and closures.

  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement.

  • Support recruiter onboarding, training, and professional development.

3. Recruitment Operations & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with U.S.-based hiring managers, account managers, and delivery teams to understand hiring priorities.

  • Ensure recruiting activities are aligned with business needs, client expectations, and delivery timelines.

  • Track and report recruiting metrics, including submissions, interviews, offers, placements, time-to-fill, and conversion rates.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Identify recruitment bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

  • Provide proactive updates on hiring progress, challenges, and market conditions.

  • Ensure adherence to recruitment processes, documentation standards, and applicable compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in U.S. IT staffing, technology services, or professional staffing.

  • At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring a recruiting team.

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to personally recruit and close positions while managing a team.

  • Strong experience with sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and offer negotiation.

  • Good understanding of U.S. staffing practices, hiring processes, and employment arrangements.

  • Proven success in delivering results against recruitment targets.

  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major recruiting job boards.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based teams during overlapping business hours.

  • Must be willing to work from our office near MG Road, Bengaluru, on a regular, full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for U.S. commercial and federal government clients.

  • Exposure to contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and permanent placement.

  • Experience hiring across software development, cloud, data engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and other technology disciplines.

  • Familiarity with recruitment analytics, productivity reporting, and ATS-driven workflows.

  • Experience building and scaling high-performing recruiting teams.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will:

  • Consistently deliver quality candidates and personally contribute to successful placements.

  • Develop a productive, accountable recruiting team.

  • Improve submission quality, interview conversion, and offer acceptance rates.

  • Reduce delays in filling critical positions.

  • Build strong working relationships with U.S. hiring and delivery teams.

  • Create a positive, collaborative, and performance-oriented recruiting environment.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Leads by example and is willing to roll up their sleeves.

  • Enjoys sourcing and closing candidates rather than solely reviewing reports.

  • Takes ownership of results instead of waiting for direction.

  • Can coach recruiters without micromanaging.

  • Brings energy, urgency, structure, and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Is comfortable working from our Bengaluru office and building a strong in-person team culture.
