Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Department: Consulting
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consulting and Tester to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP MM functional consulting and testing, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformations.
The role involves configuring and supporting end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory and logistics management, and cross-module integration between SAP Materials Management (MM) and related modules such as Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
Key responsibilities include:
Configuring and supporting P2P processes in SAP S/4HANA
Analyzing business requirements and preparing detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers
Participating in all phases of testing, including unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution
Supporting cutover, go-live, end-user training, hypercare, and post-production support
Leading requirements gathering, business process analysis, and Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap assessments
Collaborating with technical teams to address defects and integration issues
The ideal candidate will have:
8+ years of hands-on SAP MM functional experience
Strong configuration knowledge across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchasing, inventory management, and other areas
Experience with requirements gathering, Fit-to-Standard analysis, solution design, and functional specifications
Familiarity with IDocs, BAdIs, SAP Fiori, APIs, EDI, and ABAP-related enhancements
Experience supporting test automation using Tricentis Tosca
