Job description
We are looking for a Lead Integration Developer - Dell Boomi to deliver secure, scalable integrations between Domino Data Lab and enterprise IT systems in life sciences. You will connect clinical, research, and enterprise platforms using Axway MFT, Dell Boomi, and Python while aligning with governance and cloud standards. Responsibilities
Design integration solutions that link Domino Data Lab with clinical systems, data lakes, and enterprise applications
Build and maintain interfaces using Axway MFT, Dell Boomi, and Python-based services
Develop APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven integrations that enable data science and analytics workflows
Implement secure data transfer mechanisms that comply with GxP, HIPAA, and other life sciences regulatory standards
Deploy and manage integration components in AWS using EKS, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway
Containerize services and orchestrate integration workloads with Kubernetes (EKS)
Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and enterprise architects to define scalable, reusable integration patterns
Monitor integrations, diagnose issues, and tune for performance, reliability, and scalability
Maintain documentation, versioning, and governance for all integration assets
Champion DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5–15 years of experience delivering integrations and working with middleware technologies
Hands-on expertise with Axway MFT (Managed File Transfer), Dell Boomi (integration platform), and Python for API and data integration development
Strong background in REST APIs, microservices, and data integration patterns
Proven experience with AWS cloud services
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS
Proficiency with data formats and protocols: JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP, HTTPS
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed system environments
English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
Background in life sciences, pharma, or healthcare IT environments
Familiarity with Domino Data Lab or similar data science platforms
Experience working within regulatory compliance frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA)
Exposure to CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
