Manager, Legal (VAS & South Asia | India & South Asia)

Visa is seeking a commercially minded lawyer to join its growing legal team as a Manager, Legal (VAS & South Asia | India & South Asia). The successful candidate will provide primary legal support for Visa's Value Added Services (VAS) and South Asia businesses.

The role involves providing strategic legal advice and counsel to VAS, VCA and South Asia business teams regarding deal structures, product initiatives, commercial arrangements and regulatory matters. The Manager, Legal will serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and support the continued growth of Visa's services-led businesses across the cluster.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, negotiating and managing complex technology, SaaS, consulting, data, licensing, outsourcing, strategic partnership and commercial agreements
• Supporting RFP responses, new product launches, strategic initiatives, acquisitions-related integrations and go-to-market activities
• Advising on legal, regulatory, privacy, data governance, intellectual property and risk management issues affecting VAS offerings
• Providing legal support for all business activities across Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan
• Working effectively with regional and global legal, compliance, privacy, tax, risk and government engagement teams

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-8 years of post-qualification legal experience, strong corporate and commercial law experience gained at a top-tier law firm or multinational organization, and excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
