**Job Title:** Assistant Manager – Senior Automation Tester

**Department**: ISPL 2S – Market & Financing Services- MFS, CIB2S IT

**About Business line/Function:**

Market and Financing Services (MFS): The MFS IT team is supporting CIB2S Clients on the following financial services - Foreign exchange, Cash management, Financing, Agency collateral management, Securities lending, Independent valuation (of OTC derivatives), and Dealing.

The MFS IT team works on a wide range of projects and platforms \[supporting the above services\], by providing Application development arising from business, regulatory changes and re-engineering of existing applications to improve functionality and efficiency.

**Position Purpose:**

Automation tester will be responsible to:

\- Work in collaboration with Development & PO team

\- Design and create the automation test plans and the automation test scripts for the IST & UAT

\- Create the automation test suite for IST & UAT

\- Should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player.

\- Should have experience of working effectively in fast-paced environments.

\- Proactive Communication on issues / risks / status

\- High-Quality Focus, follow the defined workflow and ensure the project KPIs are within the limits

\- Gain application, business and functional knowledge

**Responsibilities**

Direct Responsibilities

\- Hands on experience of Automation tools, techniques and framework development in particular,

\- Should have working experience with UFT (Preferred)

\- Selenium Automation with Core-Java/Python Language

\- Should work on BDD / Key word / Data Driven automation framework

\- Should work on EDGE browser-based application with Data Base validation through automation

\- Extended & Strong experience on Locators finding (Xpath & CSS)

\- Should work on IE based Angular/EXTJS framework-based application

\- Exposure to API web services testing (Preferred)

\- Hands-on experience of ALM/QC

\- Good experience in handling Database with knowledge in DB queries

\- Strong Functional testing experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets domain

\- Exposure to Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Collateral Management, Accounting, Risk, Settlements and Pricing

\- Good communication skills both verbal and written.

\- Ensures deliverables created as per Quality Management practices followed by the company, or as outlined for the project/release

\- The candidate must be motivated, very dynamic, pro-active & Team player with lead responsibilities

\- Good hands-on experience on Agile practices

\- Gain application, business, and functional knowledge and develop team members by providing guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing

\- Help testing team in performing NRT and test case preparation and execution

\- Quick to adopt and apply AI tools to enhance efficiency and improve outcomes.

**Technical & Behavioral Competencies**

· **Experience on Test Automation Tools (UFT, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)**

· Exposure to Capital Markets Functional knowledge

**Specific Qualifications:**

**Experience Level: 5 to 7 years**

· 5+ years of experience along with bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

· Prior experience in similar domain as an Automation Tester.
