What You'll Do
Provide technical help and incident troubleshooting for vital business applications including SVN, Perforce, and GitHub, maintaining swift responses consistent with SLAs.
Conduct functional analysis, system configuration, and technical development of SCM tools.
Monitor system performance, propose balanced solutions, and recommend modifications as necessary.
Perform performance tuning for slow-running processes to ensure efficient efficiency.
Use a strong grasp of security principles to address changes following security recommendations.
Partner with worldwide groups to apply and supervise application updates and configuration adjustments.
Serve as application support for version control applications and other SaaS and on-premises systems.
Maintain non-technical system documentation, including process flow charts and build documents.
Hold discussions with end users to collect requirements and develop functional specifications together with Business Analysts.
Follow Change Control procedures and perform regular environment refreshes and maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve application environment issues, ensuring seamless operation.
Install, configure, upgrade, and optimize application environments to meet business needs.
Develop and implement technical recovery and continuity plans, understanding the business impact of IT systems failures.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in administration, configuration, and support of Linux, SVN, GitHub, Perforce, and DevOps tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation.
Proven capability to deliver application support and resolve incidents promptly.
Experience in performance tuning and applying security principles.
Demonstrated success collaborating with international teams to deploy technical solutions.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and PRTG, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, to interact effectively with end users and collaborators.
Ability to detail technical specifications clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to develop balanced business solutions.
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field.
