Job description
Location: Bangalore, India Department: Engineering
At Cisco Meraki, you will be part of the Core Product team, responsible for crafting and implementing features that improve the reliability, simplicity, security, and performance of their products.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Product Security team to improve product security
Work with the Hardware Engineering team to add support for new Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs)
Create, update, and maintain bootloaders and device drivers that interact with TPMs
Participate in designing and developing platform and system-level software/firmware for Meraki products
Collaborate with engineers to architect customer-delighting features
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Drive issue debugging
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of software engineering experience
4+ years of experience writing production code in C/C++
Experience with embedded security technologies like TPMs, Secure Boot, and Cryptography
Ability to work across multiple product lines and hardware stacks
Excellent communication and presentation skills
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree
Nice to Have:
Expertise in networking, especially with SSL/TLS
Experience with security-related aspects of systems design, hardening, and vulnerability patch management
Experience with embedded systems development, such as Yocto and buildroot
Experience with BSPs, U-Boot, and Linux integration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and Jenkins
Passion for improving code and implementing reusable design patterns
