• Contribute to test planning, estimation, design, and execution aligned with sprint backlog, release scope, product risks, and quality priorities.
• Analyze software requirements and user stories to derive robust positive, negative, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios for complex customer workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable UI automation using Ranorex for the existing Windows desktop solution, including coded modules in C# and effective object repository management.
• Contribute to the future multiplatform automation strategy using Appium or comparable coded automation approaches across Windows and Android applications
• Design and maintain modular, reusable, data-driven automation components with reliable synchronization, locator strategies, logging, reporting, and flaky-test prevention.
• Validate product APIs and service integrations through automated checks, including using APIs for test setup, execution, and result validation.
• Integrate automated smoke, regression, API, and end-to-end tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including triggers, scheduled execution, artifacts, and test-result reporting.
• Analyze automation and pipeline failures and distinguish product defects from test-script, infrastructure, environment, or test-data issues through structured root-cause analysis.
• Support test environments involving Windows/Azure virtual machines, emulators, connected devices, and hardware-software integration setups.
• Collaborate with test engineers, developers, product owners, and system-testing teams to align quality goals, automation scope, release readiness, and technical solutions.
• Track and communicate test progress, automation results, defect status, quality risks, and release readiness clearly to stakeholders.
• Manage defects, test cases, and traceability using Jira and relevant test-management tools such as Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail.
• Apply sound automation judgement by selecting suitable scenarios for automation and balancing coverage, reliability, maintainability, and execution time.
• Explore AI-assisted testing approaches where relevant to improve test design, failure analysis, scripting, and QA productivity. Require ments (Must Haves)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong hands-on experience in coded test automation and good exposure to functional testing.
• Strong programming skills in C#/.NET, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, debugging, and development of clean, reusable automation code.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable UI automation frameworks for desktop, mobile, or multiplatform applications.
• Good understanding of UI automation concepts such as object identification, locator strategy, synchronization and waits, reusable components, test-data handling, and flaky-test prevention.
• Experience with API testing and automation, including REST concepts, JSON payloads, response validation, and API-driven test setup or verification.
• Experience on Mobile Automation
• Experience with Git and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, including integration and analysis of automated test execution in pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation failures using logs, reports, screenshots, and pipeline artifacts, and to perform structured root-cause analysis.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills. Require ments (Nice to have)
• Hands-on experience with Ranorex for Windows desktop automation, including object repositories, record-and-playback, and C# coded modules.
• Experience with Appium or another coded cross-platform automation framework for Windows and/or Android applications.
• Familiarity with Azure/Windows virtual machines, emulators, test-environment setup, and automated execution infrastructure.
• Exposure to gRPC, microservices, or other service-based communication patterns.
• Familiarity with BIM/CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Revit, or with engineering/design software domains.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing approaches and modern QA engineering practices.
